Fundica Roadshow Returns to Toronto Next Week

The Fundica Roadshow, a national initiative with 10 city stops across Canada, launches in Toronto next week.

The event, which is composed of informative sessions and fireside chats provided by guest speakers, will take place at MaRS on Tuesday, February 28.

The 2016 Fundica Roadshow brought together 114 pitchers, 124 funders, 102 partners, 105 speakers and 2,000 participants. This year, Fundica raises its stakes with the $1,000,000 FSVP Investment Award, as well as months of free office space at WeWork, a cloud hosting package from CANARIE and free accounting services from Intuit QuickBooks.

These startups will be pitching to a panel of judges, which is composed of individuals from OMERS Ventures, 500 Startups, Real Ventures, MaRS IAF, BDC, and others.
