Radient360 Secures $3.3 Million Seed Funding

Radient360 Solutions Inc. has raised a $3.3 million seed funding round.

The St. John’s-based software provider saw the funding come from Build Ventures and the family office Killick Capital Inc. The new capital will help radient360 expand both sales and product development teams and open a new office in Calgary.

The new round is one of the largest seed funding announcements ever for a technology company based in Newfoundland and Labrador.

“As a young company, we have made great progress to reach this point in our development,” said Steve Taylor, CEO of radient360. “With this round of funding and the support of the bright minds at Build Ventures and Killick Capital, we expect to continue that success as we expand our operations.”

Through a cloud-based work execution platform, radient360’s software digitizes work processes and creates powerful data analytics to support asset-intensive industries like oil or gas exploration and development. The company currently has operational implementation within a few oil and gas operators and is presently pursuing international deployment of its platform.

“Radient360 is a company on the move,” said Patrick Keefe, general partner of Build Ventures. “Its proven products and strong track record of performance have earned it a loyal following. We look forward to working with them on the next steps in their growth trajectory.”

Launched in 2011, r360—as it is commonly referred to—was founded by current CEO Steve Taylor. The platform has over 17,000 assets under management by clients.
