Jobber, a software platform that helps home service businesses, this week announced the opening of a Toronto office, which it says was necessary to support the growth of its global customer base.
The Edmonton-based startup’s new space will be located at the OneEleven Scale-Up Hub.
“We’re really excited to announce the opening of a Jobber office in downtown Toronto,” says Sam Pillar, Jobber’s CEO. “As we gain momentum and push through the 100 employee mark, establishing a Toronto office to grow alongside Edmonton will help ensure we’re able to continue providing the industry-leading product and experience the market has come to expect from us.”
Jobber also announced the addition of David McIninch as VP of Marketing. In that role he will be responsible for overseeing the growth and go-to-market strategy of the company, in addition to leading the new Toronto office.

Jobber, founded in 2011, now serves tens of thousands of users in over 30 countries who deliver more than $100 million in services each month.
