Ford Creates Connected Cradle That Mimics Soothing Car Ride

Ford has created a cloud-connected cradle designed to help infants fall asleep by mimicking the soothing environment of a gentle car ride.

Called “Max Motor Dreams,” the secure crib provides car-like vibrations and allows parents to record and play the sounds of their actual family vehicle, creating a sense of calming familiarity for the baby.

Ford’s crib includes an app that enables users to customize the settings of movement and noise.

While the product could have a real market, Ford developed Max Motor Dreams as a one-off to serve an advertising campaign in Spain.
