Following an internet leak, Verizon has released official details on a major decision to combine AOL and Yahoo and other brands into a single corporate entity, which will be called Oath.
Oath “is a house of over 25 media and technology brands,” according to a spokesperson, including The Huffington Post.
Oath is described by Verizon vaguely as “a values-led company, committed to building brands people love.”
The new entity is not slated to officially launch until the summertime.
