Amazon is beta testing a new feature for Prime members in Seattle.
AmazonFresh Pickup is “a fast and easy way to order groceries, pick them up, and be on your way in minutes,” according to the commerce giant.
Orders can be ready in as little as 15 minutes after they are placed, the company says, and there’s no order minimum. In addition, the service is free for Prime subscribers.
“Whether you’re shopping for your weekly groceries or picking up a last-minute item, we have thousands of grocery items available at low prices,” Amazon says.
The company says the service even includes packing the groceries and placing them in your car for you.
Amazon seems incredibly interested in groceries of late. The company is also working on its Go stores, which are physical grocery outlets that do not require checking out.
