Robin, a digital concierge for live music and events, will be a part of the first-ever Techstars Music program.
The Toronto startup is the first Canadian company to join Techstar’s new program, an accelerator based in Los Angeles targeting music-related projects.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of Techstars Music and to work closely with Sony, Warner Music and other leading innovators in the music industry,” said Adam McIsaac, CEO of Robin. “With their help, we’re looking to reimagine how the live event industry works, so we can provide a better experience for both artists and music fans.”
Techstars Music brings together major record labels and global artist management companies to provide capital, mentorship, business development and licensing opportunities to the best music startups on the planet.
Launched in 2016, Robin works with artists and event organizers to help fans reserve tickets to see their favorite artists. Robin is a member of the DMZ at Ryerson University.
