Agritech Startup Decisive Farming Expands to US
Titan Machinery has forged a strategic alliance with Alberta’s Decisive Farming, which will enable Titan to offer a digital farm management platform to customers that will complement its existing equipment and solutions.
“We teamed up with Decisive Farming because they have a complete and reliable solution in the market,” explains David Meyer, CEO of Titan. “Through [their] platform, our customers will have access to a suite of over ten farm management services, with more expected in the future.”
The My Farm Manager platform allows Decisive Farming’s team and other service partners to provide data management and expertise on GIS, agronomy, and crop marketing for the grower.
“My Farm Manager connects key service providers—including agronomists, grain elevators and equipment dealers—with sensors and data to manage and optimize the entire farming operation,” says Remi Schmaltz, CEO of Decisive.
This marks the Canadian company’s first foray into the US market.
Late last year, Decisive raised a Series A round from McRock Capital Corporation, a Toronto venture capital fund manager focused on the Industrial Internet of Things.
