Twitter Swaps ‘Moments’ Tab for ‘Explore’ Tab

Twitter continues to make small changes to its platform in hopes of creating a more engaging experience for users. The most recent update involves the launch an “Explore” tab.

The Explore tab will subsume the the Moments tab that rests among others: Home, Notifications, and Messages. Explore will include Moments and add search, trending content, and live video.

“There are many ways to see what’s happening on Twitter,” the company said in a blog post online. “Very soon, you’ll be able to find trends, Moments, search, and the best of live video, all within the new Explore tab.”

Twitter says it has been exploring different ways to make it simpler for people to find and use trends, Moments, and search. Explore, the company says, is the first step toward this.

Explore will begin rolling out today on Twitter for iOS and in the coming weeks on Twitter for Android.
