Searches for One-Way Flights Out of America Spike After Trump Victory

With Donald Trump slated to be the next president of the United States, some Americans are looking for a way out.

According to travel site CheapFlights.com, searches in the US for one-way flights increased dramatically on election night. Yesterday evening, when it became almost certain Trump would win, flight searches peaked at 1,000% of their normal rate.

Canada was the most popular country of destination for anti-Trumpers, but the New Zealand, Germany, and Japan also proved popular.
