Continuing Acquisition Spree, Salesforce Buys Data Analytics Startup BeyondCore

Salesforce has acquired BeyondCore, a data analytics startup, for an undisclosed sum.

“At Salesforce, BeyondCore will be uniquely positioned to further magnify our impact on the world of analytics as part of the Analytics Cloud, extending smart data discovery and advanced analytics capabilities across the entire Salesforce Customer Success Platform,” said Arijit Sengupta, CEO, BeyondCore, in a blog post.

“I am thrilled announce @Salesforce has acquired @beyondcoreinc to enhance the AI capabilities of Analytics Cloud,” Salesforce head Marc Benioff tweeted.

Salesforce has spent $4 billion acquiring companies in 2016, including a $2.8 billion purchase of Demandware. The company has now made seven acquisitions already this year, well up from an average of just three per year.
