Netflix Launches Flixtapes – Mixtape-Like Playlists for TV Shows and Movies
Remember mixtapes?
They were a thoughtfully constructed original list of songs painstakingly recorded onto a cassette tape and gifted to friends for their listening pleasure. Fast-forward to 2016, and Netflix is bringing back the magic of the mixtape.
Flixtape is a way for people to create and gift a curated playlist of Netflix titles based around your chosen theme, mood, or message. It’s like a mixtape, but for Netflix.
Just log on to flixtape.netflix.com, name your Flixtape, edit the titles you want to include and customize your cover. You can then share with friends – they can then access the titles directly through Netflix.
