How did Canadian startups fare in the funding scene last month?
To find out, we combed through Index.co data to take a closer look at Canada’s angel and venture capital activity.
In February, 23 startups raised more than $30 million USD combined, including Mobify and Borrowell.
In January, 22 Canadian tech startups disclosed a total of US $190 million in venture capital funding, including Zymeworks and Lendful. In December 2015, 18 Canadian technology startups disclosed a total of USD $125 million, including Trulioo and Eventbase. In November, 19 Canadian technology startups disclosed a total of USD $92 million. In October, 22 startups disclosed a total of USD $168 million.
