Waterloo-based Intelligent Mechatronic Systems is the only telematics company signed onto the newly launched SAP Vehicles Network, a cloud offering that allows enterprise companies to offer secure, convenient end-to-end vehicle- and mobility-centric services, independent of devices or vehicles.
Ontario in January will become Canada’s first province to allow self-driving cars on the road.
“Clean tech is maturing and adopting proven management practices, and we have been a strong advocate of the same, focusing our efforts toward delivering a positive and actionable project that will help our customers adapt to digital technologies effectively,” said Prateek Saxena, who is closely involved in the project.
Intelligent Mechatronic Systems enables drivers to be safer, smarter and greener by converging in-car infotainment, automotive telematics and wireless technology.
SAP Vehicles Network harnesses the power of SAP HANA Cloud Platform for the Internet of Things and offers member companies and partners the opportunity to create new mobility services and apps for consumer use
