Compensation may not be the only factor that determines satisfaction on the job, but it’s certainly one of the most important elements.
Robert Half Technology’s latest annual Salary Guide forecasts compensation trends across the tech industry for the US and Canada.
For example, in 2015, Canadian chief information officers can expect to earn anywhere from $157,000 to $237,000 per year, up 5% from 2014. Mobile app developers should expect to earn between $93,000 and $120,000, up more than 9% since last year. Big data engineers can earn up to $139,000, an increase of nearly 8%.
