On Wednesday, August 26, the Vancouver chapter of the Vinetta Project held The Vinetta Showcase, an event providing the opportunity for top female founders to pitch a panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors. The event was held in the beautiful Gastown co-working space, The Profile.
Approximately 100 people attended the event to hear the panel discussion, three startup pitches, and a Q&A with the experts. The audience was a mixed one, with representatives from tech, bio, and other sectors in attendance.
The mission of The Vinetta Project, which puts on the showcase, is to connect female founders with such investors and entrepreneurs through events such as live pitches and VIP dinners.
The event was hosted by Vanessa Dawson, Founder & CEO of The Vinetta Project, Aliya Amershi, Founder & CEO of AskaTechie.com and Vinetta Project Chapter Lead, and Nicole Parmar, Digital Marketing Specialist and Vinetta Project Chapter Lead.
