PayWith and Carl’s Jr. have partnered to launch a rewards app into Canada’s competitive, quick-serve burger market.
The Vancouver-based mobile payments firm and the US restaurant chain say the app is designed to “open a positive dialogue between Carl’s Jr. and its customers.”
“Not every dining experience is the same and it enables customers to share their feedback with the brand and get the rewards and perks they deserve,” explains PayWith CEO David Strebinger.
Carl’s Jr. is the first burger chain in Canada to have an app that combines mobile payments and rewards.
“Our franchisees want a forward-thinking, 360-degree mobile experience for their customers,” says Jeff Branton, VP and General Manager of Carl’s Jr. Canada.
The Carl’s Jr. Rewards App, which includes geo-location and iBeacon technology, is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
