Toronto’s Influitive has closed a Series B round of capital.
The $30.5-million financing was led by Georgian Partners, with participation from BDC, OurCrowd, Docomo, Atlas Venture and angel investors.
The company says it plans to use the funds to continue to expand the advocate marketing categorybwhile fuelling its growth through new offerings and global expansion.
In addition, Simon Chong of Georgian Venture Partners will join Influitive’s Board of Directors.
“I’m gratified by the enthusiastic response we’ve received from investors that share our excitement for advocacy as the most authentic and effective way for marketers to reach buyers,” says Mark Organ, CEO and founder of Influitive.
“We share Influitive’s view of a massive market opportunity for business advocacy that is gaining traction every day,” says Chong, Managing Partner for Georgian Partners.
Influitive, late last year named a company to watch, now has 100 employees and 250 customers, with offices in Toronto, Boston, and Silicon Valley.
