Bluink won a competition in Silicon Valley recently.

Specifically, the Ottawa-born product development company won the FinTech Accelerator Pitch competition, which was held last week at Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale.

Founded by Larry Hamid and Steve Borza, Bluink won for Injector, a universal authenticator app that secure login support for any system.

The competition was part of the FinTech Expo, a culmination of the accelerator program Bluink participated in. Out of 864 applicants, 31 were selected for the program—and the Canadian company beat all 30 in the competition. However, the event did not include any monetary prizes.
