Microsoft, not historically known for creating viral pop culture content, hit a home run when its “How Old?” website made waves across the internet for its Azure-based algorithm that attempted to guess—often with a hilarious lack of accuracy—the ages of people based on photos.
Its latest Azure-based project isn’t likely to reach the same viral success, but at the very least it’s briefly entertaining. In the same bare-bones, 90s-style web design, “Twins or Not?” gauges how much the people in two different photos resemble each other. (Sample result: “Twin score: 0%, probably not even from the same planet.”)
Apparently, the product was developed in a modest four hours, so don’t expect much. Then again, that’s part of what made How Old so great.
